People + Future
Everyone around the world is affected by the extraordinary situation and we all hope that the consequences and problems for the economy will quickly return to normal once the crisis is over for the whole of Europe and overseas. Our partners and we therefore share Messe Düsseldorf's view that these events should be postponed until 2021 and that next spring we should again focus fully on print and packaging technology.
We wish everyone the best for the coming weeks and months and look forward to the trade fair in 2021.
May and June will be clearly the focus of print and packaging in Düsseldorf. Interpack will run for ten days in May, followed by Drupa 2020 for 11 days from 16 June. The latest trends, technologies and solutions will be presented to international experts.
Three important topics have an impact on the international market and are the focus of the trade fairs: a) Sustainable concepts for packaging and production, b) Smart Packaging products and c) Packaging 4.0 with high-performance and automated production throughout the entire process chain. Together with Krifft & Zipsner and Pepperl & Fuchs, FALCON will present innovative solutions for Packaging 4.0 production and Smart Factory Design at its stand. Automation, Robotics, Logistics, Software - you shouldn't miss these exhibition days and the opportunities they offer - we are looking forward to interesting meetings and discussions on site. Our meeting point DRUPA Hall1 A32.

This year LABELEXPO Europe (25. to 28. September) will address the market with a preferred focus in process integration and automation. FALCON will maintain a joint presence at the booth 9C16 of its partner SISTRADE. Together we will exhibit and inform about innovations that foster production performance for the label and packaging industries. We are pleased to present and explain how an individual transformation plan towards a Smart Factory operation can be supported. We are looking forward to meet you in Brussels.
Sistrade invited their users and partners to gather for their first international congress in July. Sistrade could celebrate with over 130 participants a successful corporate development. FALCON being a long-term partner has been invited with its customers and asked to contribute with a presentation. Holger Ochel could address the audience with a captivating lecture about the Smart Factory Concept of FALCON and created lively discussions. The demand and move for change to adapt digitisation is all-encompassing and does not save off any segment. Users present showed a great interest and consistently confirmed the need to take up such transformation strategy.
If you are interested in the lecture of FALCON or a complete information about Sistrade MIS/ERP Holger Ochel: email@example.com
Holger Ochel presented a keynote lecture about the topic "MIS and ERP on the test bench" - What about Print 4.0?“ Individual requirements, measures and priorities let create a roadmap for the transformation process into Smart Factories for the print and packaging industries. The focus is on the full value chain - customer in the centre.
He was able to draw examples and applications such explaining an integrated production systematic. Key issues for gaining benefits are intensified digitisation and automation by developing an effective process and material flow. This however needs a holistic concept considering technology, processes and people. A fully integrated MIS/ERP system and the smart factory approach involving re-design or a newly designed production site with ideal conditions are mandatory for future viability.
